8th October, 7:00pm on Zoom
Amps is a community of people who make and cultivate creativity in Dundee, and meet regularly to share news and ideas, discuss current issues, and collectively build on the future of the city – join us here!
The Amps Meet-Up is a great opportunity to connect with artists, designers, makers and doers in and around Dundee, through relaxed breakouts, and share ideas for future collaborations.
Hosted on Zoom, this social evening will be as informal and relaxed as our weekly Amps Breakfasts, with small group chats around topics that are relevant to Amps, and time to share your news.
Join us online, bring your own drinks, and take part in the chats prompted by fellow Amps: Lisa Williamson, one half of Hidden Route, theatre company who work with young people; Darryl Gaffney du Plooy, social entrepreneur and activist, Emerging Dundee; Erin Farley, local historian and library worker at Dundee Libraries; John McCann, writer and running @scrievedundee, a playwriting scratch night; Sabrina Logan, Capacity Building Officer at Amina; Sam Sherriff, multi-disciplinary artist and Fun A Day Dundee coordinator; David Scott, artist and photographer; Amanda Lowson, Community, Health and Wellbeing associate at Dundee Rep; Susie Buchan, artist, producer of creative things and part of Biome Collective; Andy Robertson, Creative Arts Lead at Hot Chocolate Trust.

Then, join Amps, connect with others, share your ideas, and submit your project to get a chance to be awarded this year’s Amps Community Ideas Fund!
The Fund is currently £1,500 and growing!
Join us at the Amps Meet-Up and hear more about to how submit a project for the Amps Community Ideas Fund – a cash award each year to enable a new, experimental collaboration between Amps. 50% of all Amps subscriptions goes towards the Fund, so the more Amps there are, the bigger the Fund is!
