Open Call: Shaper/Caper LGBTQ+ Bursary Programme


Shaper/Caper and Dundee Pride have come together to invite artists and innovative thinkers who identify as LGBTQ+ to apply to their Bursary Programme.


The bursary programme is part of OutFest, a festival of activity celebrating and exploring LGBTQ+ history as part of LGBTQ+ history month in February.

This opportunity will offer 3 individuals a bursary of £1,000 and 4 individuals a bursary of £500 to develop ideas, connect with a community of fellow artists  and LGBTQ+ activists and share work at the end of February. The work can be in any format, existing or brand-new work and should explore LGBTQ+ themes. The sharing will be a public event and can take any form, with no requirement for the idea to be finalised by the sharing.
 
Bursary recipients receive:  

To apply, email a current CV and a 500-word synopsis of your idea, this can be a written, video or audio submission.

Closing date: 12 pm on Monday 24 January 2022 

Notification date: 6 pm on Friday 28 January 2022
