Volk Gallery have a new edition by Maria Tolia, inspired by colours and scents from a recent trip to Spain.

There’s a new edition ready to vend at Volk Gallery by artist Maria Tolia, inspired by colours and scents from a recent trip to Spain. During the trip, Tolia dreamt of birds falling off trees during first light, drinking in the day. 

Inside each pack you’ll find a bundle of Andalucían herbs foraged by the artist and packed in hand-painted teabags. Each tea bag is unique, and accompanied by a small black and white riso print and painted envelope.

Volk Gallery is a non-institutional arts venue based in Dundee, Scotland – contained inside a repurposed nappy vending machine and hung in the Keiller Centre. Each month a new Volk artist is given a size limit and budget and left to their own devices. A rotation of products are dispensed at a set price of £3 each.
