An exciting opportunity for experienced makers to share your ceramic knowledge with others! DCW are looking for proposals for courses that will last between four and six weeks, that are suitable for those of either beginner or intermediate level. Classes typically run for 2-2.5 hours, and all materials and equipment (including two wheels) are provided.

Graduate Internship
And if you’re just starting out on your ceramics journey, and finding your way post-degree, then the Graduate Internship might be just what you’re looking for. Running from September 2022 until August 2023, the year long programme is designed to support a recent graduate to continue making and developing their practise in Dundee. You’ll get free membership for the duration of the internship, a position on the DCW Committee, and a mentoring providing professional development support (including access to training opportunities, guidance with applications, connection to work opportunities). You will also be supported to showcase your work in a solo exhibition upon completion of the internship.
Deadline: Sun 31 July, 5pm
Dundee Ceramics Workshop was established in 2016 by members of Tin Roof Arts Collective. DCW provides facilities, classes, kiln hire, and 1-1 tuition for ceramic artists and enthusiasts. Now based in Wasps Meadow Mill, the collective also offers studio space for rent in the form of four small units for ceramic artists. The workshop is run by a volunteer committee who meet weekly in the studio, supported by a small staff team, freelance class tutors and a charity board of directors.
