Warm Data Wet Heap at Federation Gallery

Rachel Bride Ashton’s first solo Dundee exhibition opens at the Keiller Centre’s Federation Gallery.

Federation Gallery welcomes Rachel Bride Ashton with her first solo show in Dundee; Warm Data Wet Heap. This must-see show explores our relationship with the wild and envisions our re-animalisation, blurring the lines between where we stop and the natural world begins.

Scottish multidisciplinary artist Rachel Bride Ashton earned her living as a self-taught painter before returning to education in 2019 where her practice expanded into performance, sculpture, sound, film and installation. She is the recipient of the Freelands Painting Prize 2022 and won the Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) Award, the GENERATORprojects Prize and the James Guthrie Orchar Prize for her degree show installation at DJCAD in 2022.
