16th December, 6:00pm at online
UPDATE: Unfortunately a technical hitch with the final Dundee Guerrilla Film Festival happening means the event can no longer take place in-person as planned – but you can catch the project online instead, going live from 6pm on Sat 16 December!
December marks the final ‘happening’ of the Dundee Guerrilla Film Festival, 2022’s recipients of the Amps Community Ideas Fund. Join them under the Tay Road Bridge to gather your map and supplies before heading off in search of two major artworks installed along the waterfront by illustrator Charity May.
As always, attendees are also invited to join the Art Swap and bring along a small piece of work to trade in place of a ticket for the event. They’ll also be taking a collection for three local charities, Transition Dundee, Hot Chocolate Trust, and the Dundee and Angus Foodbank.
Read more about the journey to this final event as D.G.F.F organisers Rhiannon Mudaliar and Erin Farley reflect on their year of happenings and all that they’ve learned along the way.
When:
Sat 16 December, from 6:00pm
Where:
Tay Road Bridge
Dundee Waterfront
The event is free, no booking necessary.
The Dundee Guerrilla Film Festival is a grassroots creative project, aiming to challenge the unethical, capitalistic restraints around the sharing of art and cinema, and to promote connection, inspiration, and exchange within Dundee’s artistic community. D.G.F.F were the recipients of the 2022 Community Ideas Fund.
