Following a successful first round in 2023, the Dundee Climate Fund returns for version 2.0 to support community-led climate change projects. The £365,000 fund will support projects that relate to one or more of the following themes; community engagement; energy; resilience; transport; or waste with Dundee residents voting to decide how the budget will be spent.
Every Dundee resident will be able to ‘spend’ the full budget across various projects, voting on as many of the projects as they like until they’ve used all of the fund. Once voting has finished the projects will be ranked, matched to the available funds, and the projects with the most votes will receive the funds to bring their project to life.
Projects up for the fund include Campy Growers Collective Delivery, outreach expansion for Transition Dundee, 100 food gardens for 100 families with the Maxwell Centre, Climate Cafes with Abertay University, and more!
Voting closes: Friday 15 March 2024
