Dundee Youth Work Network are searching for a filmmaker to help share the successes of twelve youth work projects across Dundee.

Following the investment of additional funding from Dundee City Council in 2023/2024, the city’s Youth Work Network are now inviting proposals from filmmakers to produce a short film or films which reflect and celebrate the impacts of this funding.

The finished film(s) should powerfully evidence the valuable impacts achieved with young people through the twelve youth work projects funded, reflecting the creativity and unpredictability of youth work, and celebrating young people across Dundee.

The available budget for the project is £2,680 with a suggested work period from March–May and finished product delivery by Mon 20 May 2024. The Youth Work Network are open to variations in the final form the film takes but would expect the filmmaker to spend time with all twelve of the funded projects and to incorporate filming/content gathering commissions from young people within the organisations.
