Dundee Design Festival are searching for Scotland-based contemporary designers and makers to take part in FRAMEWORK; a group exhibition highlighting the quality, ambition and breadth of the contemporary Scottish design sector.
The exhibition will showcase recent, existing work that brings together a range of innovative and creative ideas and methodologies, and will run throughout the festival from Mon 23–Sun 29 September 2024. Although FRAMEWORK is an object based exhibition, submissions from those working in alternative ways (e.g digitally or virtually) are welcomed.
This year’s Dundee Design Festival theme is Multiplicity, exploring the many different ways that design shapes our world. Sustainability is at the heart of the festival and it is on track to be one of the world’s most sustainable design festivals. It is important that featured FRAMEWORK designers also consider sustainability through their work.
Deadline for submissions: midnight, Sun 7 July 2024
