The festive season is right around the corner! Each year we want to give local makers and designers a helping hand where we can. If you’re in a position to, we’d encourage you to do the same! And where better to shop than at one of the many festive markets taking place across the city?
Below is a list of the ones we know of so far—if we’ve missed any, send us an email and let us know! We’ll update the list as more are announced.

£2.50 entry (Free for under 12’s)
Shop small and local at this authentic twist on the traditional craft market with a huge selection of products from illustration to vintage bric-a-brac, plants to jewellery, ceramics to candles and so much more! The perfect spot to find unique gift ideas.

Start your festive season with a magical weekend at Verdant Works! They’re bringing together the finest producers in the region for festive shopping and with performances from local choirs and musical groups, you’re guaranteed to leave with a warm, fuzzy festive feeling.

Head to Miller’s Wynd car park for the opening night of this year’s West End Christmas Fortnight and enjoy a Christmas market, fairground rides, music, festive illuminations and more! With Santa making an appearance and a pipe band set to perform, it’ll be a fun and festive way to begin the celebrations.

V&A Dundee’s Festive Design Market is back! Curated by Tea Green Events, this year the market will feature work from some of Scotland’s best independent designers and makers—including brand-new graduate talent from DJCAD. With handcrafted items at a wide range of price points, it’s the perfect place to pop in and pick up some gifts and festive goodies.

For the sixth year running, Double Door Studios is transforming into a festive pop-up shop and filling the studios with handmade products for a beautifully curated shopping experience that helps you support local, creative businesses this Christmas!
