Tayside music fans can look forward to the return of the Dundee Jazz Festival, running Thu 13–Sun 16 November! For over 40 years, the festival has brought a warm, vibrant celebration of jazz to the heart of Dundee, showcasing top local, national, and international talent.
This year’s line-up highlights emerging Scottish stars, including vocalist kitti with big-band arrangements from her debut album, and Fergus McCreadie Trio on their UK tour. Local talents Kimberley Tessa and Susan McCathie debut new projects, while pianist Ben Shankland and saxophonist Harben Kay team up for their first Dundee collaboration. International highlights include New York steel pan virtuoso Jonathan Scales and acclaimed guitarist Lorne Lofsky.
The weekend also features a variety of smaller gigs and community events across the city, with something for everyone. Tickets are £8 for students across the festival and range between £8 – £18 for General Admission.
