Inspired by listening practices happening elsewhere, Dundee Radio Club is a project for sonic exploration in Dundee – a community radio station for listening together, sharing sounds and opening ears. Following a hugely successful inaugural 48hour Listening Festival in 2025, Dundee Radio Club are returning with an expanded Listening Festival for February 2026!
Hoping to amplify even more audio adventures, they’re inviting submissions from anyone working and thinking with sound. Audio-works can be pre-existing or a new work, and the invitation is broad – you might put forward sonic artworks, podcast-type conversations, interviews, music sessions, storytelling, dj-mixes, radio-plays and more.
This opportunity is open to: anyone working and thinking with sound, from or within Dundee and beyond.
Deadline for submissions: Mon 5 January 2026, 23:59
All sounds will be listened to in advance of scheduling, and DDRC will be in touch with all applicants by Fri 23 January 2026.
Dundee Radio Club is a collaboration between curator and producer Becca Clark and sound artist, musician and producer Su Shaw. DDRC was initially made possible through our Amps network’s Community Ideas Fund. Find out more about the fund, how you can get involved, and join the Amps Network here.
