Vapour Trail is an Urban Art Event taking place in Dundee this weekend (26th and 27th July), so right now really if you are reading this today… if it’s now next week or later then tough, you missed it.
There are 3 main events that make up Vapour Trail, The Paint Jam, Infamy and the Scribble Club Night. The Paint Jam itself is a bunch of Graffiti Artists painting what is believed to be the longest legal “wall of fame” in the UK and will be taking place at the DPM Park in the Hilltown on Saturday and Sunday, I nicked most of this from the BBC websites news story, so go there and read a bit more.
Also there is the Screening of Infamy at the DCA on Saturday at 7pm, tickets £5 and its over 15’s only.
Then to top off the day there is the excellent Scribble Club Night at the City Function Suite. Walls of paper and pens on every table so if your like me and can’t be bothered dancing you can draw the night away. £5 for that one too but if you have been to see Infamy keep your ticket stub and you get in free, unless your under 18 then you don’t get in at all.
There’s also a Youtube video of last years Paint Jam results here.
