If you’re of a certain age, you will probably have fond memories of when Who Framed Roger Rabbit hit the big screen. A ground-breaking film of its time, this huge milestone in the history of animation combined live action and animation seamlessly together in a feature length movie. Tons of Toons, Judge Doom (with those eyes) and Jessica Rabbit (with those legs) – who could ask for more…
Now imagine if that’s where you started your career as a trainee animator… Fraser Maclean was hired on WFRR in 1987 having graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1983 with a degree in Graphic Design. Since then Fraser has worked on a number of Warner Bros and Disney feature animations in Los Angeles, including Space Jam and Tarzan.
As part of their 10 year anniversary, Tayscreen invite you to hear from Fraser at a free seminar; where he will talk will about his new book Setting The Scene, which charts the history and development of the art and techniques of Animation Layout.
Places are limited so make sure you register by emailing anna@tayscreen.com.
