The Meat isn’t just another creative conference, it’s an invitation to challenge perceptions of the day job! The Meat, takes place on 31 May in Aberdeen and is looking to redefine what it means to be creative, by bringing to light the true power of the ‘side project’.
The event organisers have been super good to us and have offered two FREE tickets to The Meat, you just have to tell us about your own side project, or a side project that you know and love. Couldn’t be easier, simply email us with your reply and we’ll be in touch to let you know if you have are the lucky Charlie Bucket!
Creative side projects are something most of us can probably relate to, they often drive us and they can keep us sane in our everyday lives. Certainly CD which was initially set up as a side project, owes a lot to be driven and backed by people passionate about supporting the local scene, rather than to meet particular local policies or client objectives…
The Meat has some of the industry’s best-known creatives coming from all over to share their personal journeys of success outside the day job.
By regaling tales of success, failure, hard work mixed with passion they hope to show the possibilities available to the modern designer with the courage to pursue their own path.
