ShortCUTS Dundee is a project to help 16-25 year olds in Dundee get experience of working in creative teams, learning new skills, meeting new people, and making their first short film.
Young people are invited to come along to the free launch event at The Shore, this Saturday 13th September from 4.30pm till 6.30pm. At the launch event, young people will be encouraged to take part in creative games whilst discovering the different roles they can play within a ShortCUTS filmmaking team.
The project seeks to engage young people from a wide range of backgrounds and skill sets, including those who would not ordinarily engage with filmmaking networks and training. By Ricochet will work with the Community Regeneration Areas’ Youth Work Teams as well as The Shore, Discover Opportunities, Skills Development Scotland, and local arts organisations, to ensure that the project benefits young people from across Lochee, Coldside and Maryfield Community Regeneration Areas.
