Claire Dufour is freelance Programmes Producer working part-time with Creative Dundee since June 2015. Claire coordinates the monthly free event Make/Share which brings people together to gain a behind the scenes insight into the work of people from a mix of creative, science, social and technology backgrounds. alongside other exciting projects such as Fabric Dundee which brought people together to strategically develop the future of the creative sector in the city, and Boost by Design which supported 13 Dundee’s social enterprises in developing their understanding of service design, digital innovation and community building. Claire graduated from a Master in Public Management of Arts/Culture Organisations and Events, back in 2011. Since moving to Dundee, Claire has quickly integrated into the city’s creative scene and started her own projects. As a freelance creative producer, Claire runs two creative engagement programmes in Dundee: Hatch which brings people together to create and present short pieces of emergent performing arts; and Dundee Wearable Art which challenges artists, designers and makers in creating works of art using the body as a canvas of creativity.
