Make/Share Meets Amps

, at

Make/Share meets Amps: a discussion about collaboration, supporting creativity in Dundee and highlighting local doers and makers.

Make/Share is a free monthly night, bringing people together to gain a behind the scenes insight into the processes of four local creative people, held on the second Wednesday of each month.

We’re delighted that at this month’s event on Wed 12th July (7 – 8.30pm) at The Beer Kitchen Dundee, there is a special focus on our Amps network and the work of individuals and organisations who are part of it. We invite you to join us and take part in the discussion about collaboration and support of the city’s creative scene, over a drink!

Amps is a network we have developed to encourage creative collaborations. Being a member of Amps offers several perks like; being eligible to apply for the Community Ideas Fund (a cash fund taken from the contributions to Amps), meeting other members of the network at meet ups and our annual Amps Forum, priority tickets for Pecha Kucha and much more. Most importantly, Amps is about supporting the local and grassroots collaborations that have made Dundee’s creative hub, as well as Creative Dundee’s work of showcasing, resourcing and connecting these projects around the city.

On the night you will get the chance to hear from individuals and organisations who are part of Amps sharing their work and process, as well as some further information and key dates on the network itself.
