Applications are now open for Hotel Generation 2023 – a yearly artist development programme mentoring five young digital artists from across the UK.

Once selected from the open call, each participant will receive a stipend of £1,000 and mentoring from a regional gallery team to help develop an exhibition proposal for their work. One proposal will be selected by a panel of esteemed judges in the digital art sector and the winning participant will receive an additional budget to produce a fully funded exhibition at arebyte Gallery (London).

Run for the first time in partnership with key actors within the digital sector, including Dundee-based NEoN Digital Arts, Hotel Generation 2023 aims to create a region-wide support network for the next generation of digital artists, initiating new dialogues between young, regional voices and forming new conversations between different areas of the country as the programme continues yearly.

How to apply:

• Applicants will be asked to submit a 500-word proposal for a solo show with work using emerging and digital media, around the theme ‘The Body, The Mind, The Soul‘.
• Applicants must be 28 or under, living in the UK, and not enrolled at university during the programme.
• The programme will run March–June 2023, with the winning exhibition produced June–September 2023 and running from October 2023.
