The UNESCO City of Design Dundee team are searching for their next Project Coordinator to help deliver their exciting public programme and varied projects including the upcoming Dundee Design Festival!

A hugely exciting opportunity, the ideal candidate will be someone who has excellent organisational and communication skills, enjoys working collaboratively, and has experience delivering multiple projects, festivals, and cultural events.

The first six months of the role will be focused on the delivery of Dundee Design Festival, supporting the festival’s Creative Director and Lead Officer across operations, programme delivery, designer engagement, public engagement and administration.

A love and enthusiasm for culture and design within Dundee, and an understanding of the impact of culture and creativity on communities and individuals will be key.

Job Details:

• £28,264–£30,791 per year.
• 37 hours per week, fixed-term until 31 March 2025 with some weekend and evening working required.
• Applicants should have an HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area and have experience working in the cultural sector.
• The successful applicant must be available for the dates of the Dundee Design Festival, Mon 23–Sun 29 September 2024, with no annual leave approved between September and October 2024.
