Open Call: GENERATORprojects

GENERATORprojects are searching for three contemporary artists to participate in a new project looking at art work as work.

GENERATORprojects have shared an open call for three contemporary, Dundee-based artists in any visual or performance medium, to take part in a new project exploring art work as work. They are specifically searching for artists with less than three years’ cumulative professional experience and prioritising artists who have experienced at least one or more of the following:

Artists whose work interrogates questions of time, labour, class, process, third spaces, thresholds and ephemerality are especially encouraged to apply.

As part of the project, the artists will be paid to work, rather than paid for a finished outcome, and will be expected to undertake personal administrative tasks in between working. Artists will be on display to visitors at times during this project but there is no expectation for interaction.

This is a hybrid opportunity to use GENERATOR as a studio space over a three-week period, have the work you create during the project displayed or performed, get paid to do personal admin, and officially be a working artist.

How to apply:

Deadline for applications: 11.59pm, Sun 18 August
