Dundee’s iconic and much loved theatre is home to the Dundee Rep Ensemble – the only permanent full-time company of its kind in Scotland – and Scottish Dance Theatre. Once a British Film Institute Regional Cinema, the Steps Theatre was one of the first venues in the city to showcase international and art house films. Located within the Central Library in the Wellgate Centre, the Steps Theatre offers an ideal venue for hire for lectures, events and screenings.
Home to the Dundee Fringe, Sweet Venues operate year-round at The Keiller Centre, as well as running pop-up theatres in a variety of unique spaces in Dundee like car parks, mills and gardens. Dundee’s West End theatre has a rich history and regular programme of family, musical and theatrical entertainment.
