Dundee Rep Theatre

Dundee’s iconic and much loved theatre is home to the Dundee Rep Ensemble – the only permanent full-time company of its kind in Scotland – and Scottish Dance Theatre. Gardyne Theatre

Based at Dundee and Angus College’s Gardyne Campus, the theatre has a regular programme of shows covering a wide range of drama, comedy, musical theatre, live music, dance, and community productions. @gardynetheatre

The Little Theatre

Home to Dundee Dramatic Society, the Little Theatre has a 100 seat auditorium with a bar and cafe, and is available for hire. The Dundee Dramatic Society runs a programme of four plays a year in March, June, September and December. @DundeeDramaticSociety

The Lowdown

Housed in the basement of Dundee eatery The Maker, The Lowdown hosts a packed programme of live music with regular DJ nights and line-ups including favourites from Dundee’s music scene. @thelowdowndundee

Roots Music Venue

The Steps Theatre

Once a British Film Institute Regional Cinema, the Steps Theatre was one of the first venues in the city to showcase international and art house films. Located within the Central Library in the Wellgate Centre, the Steps Theatre offers an ideal venue for hire for lectures, events and screenings. 

Sweet Venues

Home to the Dundee Fringe, Sweet Venues operate year-round at The Keiller Centre, as well as running pop-up theatres in a variety of unique spaces in Dundee like car parks, mills and gardens. The Whitehall Theatre

Dundee’s West End theatre has a rich history and regular programme of family, musical and theatrical entertainment.
