Craft Scotland are inviting applications for the esteemed Inches Carr Craft Bursaries which include awards for Emerging Maker (less than 5 years practice) and Established Maker (over 5 years practice).
Both bursaries are open to professional, practicing makers working in Scotland who are producing one-off pieces or small batch production of handmade objects. Those in the Emerging Maker category can apply for up to £2,000 and for Established Maker, up to £5,000.
Examples of activities the bursary may support include, but are not limited to; strategic research and development, further learning in the field of contemporary craft, and innovative investigation of processes and materials.
