Open Close is working with the Love Lochee community group on creating a series of murals off the High Street in Lochee.

There are three individual projects, each with a different briefing and specifications. They include:

• A wall on the pend between the High St and Camperdown St
• Seven “windows” (recesses on the wall) on the pend between the High St and Camperdown St
• The entire pend at Aimer Square

The aim is to create bright, engaging artworks that will encourage exploration and a greater connection with the area. See the below link to download briefs for each project. The deadline for submissions is midnight on the night of 28 February.

A shortlist of submissions will be put to public consultation and a decision on the selected artist will be shared by the end of March.
